PIA resumes flight on Chitral route

CHITRAL: PIA resumed its flight on Islamabad-Chitral route on June 28, 2024.

The passengers, including tourists, and crew were welcomed at the airport by Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Imran Khan.

The deputy commissioner said that the resumption of flights to Chitral will help in promoting tourism in the scenic valley.

PIA had earlier stated that from June 1 two flights a week would be operated – on every Saturday and Tuesday – on Islamabad-Chitral which will be increased as per the need.

However, the national flag carrier did not operate any flight for almost whole the month and cancelled its scheduled flights at eleventh hour from Islamabad.

Even after resuming the flight on Friday, the PIA cancelled its scheduled flight on Saturday.
