CHITRAL: Popular comedian and artist Munawar Shah Rangeen, who died last night, was laid to rest in his ancestral graveyard in Chitral in the presence of fans and admirers.
His funeral prayer was offered at the lawn of the Shahi Mosque Chitral, attended by a large number of political and social figures, friends, fans, and relatives.
Munawar Shah Rangeen had been suffering from cancer for the past about a year and was undergoing treatment.
Munawar was widely known among Khowar-speaking communities in Chitral and Gilgit-Baltistan for his comedic acting and artistic talent.
