Truck driver dies after accident

CHITRAL: A truck driver from Swat died after an accident near Chitral town on Sunday.

Saran Zeb, son of Abid Bacha, resident of Shahderi in Kabal tehsil of Swat, was taking cement to Upper Chitral in his truck.

At Nerdit, the truck hit an electricity pole and overturned. Both the driver and his helper jumped out of the truck and remained safe. However, as the driver touched the truck he was electrocuted. 

The driver was rushed to the District Headquarters Hospital where he passed away. The body was later taken to the native area of the deceased.
