Bumburate road opened by Rescue 1122

CHITRAL: The road to Bumburate was opened on Saturday after debris brought down by a landsliding were removed by Rescue 1122.

Rescue 1122 Lower Chitral said that the road was blocked at Wadus village. After receiving information that a large number of tourists and local people had stranded on both sides of the blockade, the emergency service moved its staff and machinery from Bumburate and removed the debris and opened the road for traffic. 

In a statement, Rescue 1122 said that people should avoid unnecessary movement in the wake of the frequent landsliding and flash flooding. However, in case of an emergency the emergency service should be approached at toll free number of 1122.
