ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has disqualified three former PTI members of the National Assembly, including Abdul Latif from Chitral for failing to submit their required statements of assets and liabilities.
The disqualified former lawmakers are Latif, Sahibzada Muhammad Hamid Raza and Zartaj Gul, according to the Election Commission.
The ECP said action was taken against the three former MNAs for failing to submit Form B containing their statements of assets and liabilities.
Under an order issued by the Election Commission on August 7, 2026, the three former lawmakers have been disqualified until they submit the required declarations.
The former MNAs will remain ineligible to contest elections until they fulfil the legal requirement and file their statements of assets and liabilities.
