I am deeply saddened over the death of this veteran artist who always remained young in his heart and gave smiles to thousands of people. I have a friend from Gilgit who though does not know Khowar but has also been a big fan of Afzal Baba. Today not only I but my Gilgiti friend is also very sad. Though Baba has left us, he will always remain in the hearts of thousands of Chitralis who love their Kho culture. May Allah rest his soul in eternal peace and protect Chitral and its culture for thousands of year to come.
