New DPO vows to improve public service delivery

CHITRAL: New District Police Officer (DPO) Lower Chitral Salahuddin took charge of office on Wednesday. 

On arrival at the Police Lines, he was welcomed by the police officials. The DPO visited the Yadgar-e-Shuhada and offered Fateha for the souls of the police martyrs.

Mr Salahuddin inspected all wings of the police  directed them to further improve their working.

He said the guidelines of the inspector general of police regarding public service delivery and crime control should be implemented at all costs. 

Moreover, the Thana culture needs to be improved with special emphasize on changing the police behavior towards the public in order to bridge the gap between the police and the citizens.
