The 'revolution' march and so-called pro-poor political parties

Whereas the revolution march of Dr. Tahirul Qadri has caused the inebriated ruling elite to come to their senses. At the same time it has exposed the esoteric of other political parties who have long been the so-called stalwarts for the right of poor and labor class in order to swindle their votes. \"qadri\"Roti, Kapra aur Makan (Bread, Clothing and Shelter) has been the slogan of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) which could never be implemented on ground. However, now when Dr. Tahir-ul Qadri has provided a real platform on an appropriate time to materialize the merely abstract slogans, the top leadership of Zardari brand People’s Party (members of the elite club i.e., the parliment) deviated and stood firmly with the tyranny of Model Town Lahore which is beyond to be doomed by any sincere, faithful and real member of original PPP. This decision of the leadership has brought the party to the brink of major doom. Another loser in this game is Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) whose claim has, always, been to rescue the poor from the oppression of the feudalism and capitalism. But beautifully eluded, when the real opportunity of redemption from the coercion of the above mentioned element happened to arrive and unfolded its reality to the public by supporting the existing corrupt system. Though not very large but Jamat Islami (JI) is a countrywide political cum religious party and enjoys a tacit respect from all walks of public circles beyond their political affiliation. From the very beginning an imaginary Islamic economic system has been its dream. The 10 points of Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri offer a real practical phenomenon to that visionary model which, no doubt, needs a revolution to implement. But, alas, Jamat Islami wastes this opportunity by remaining impartial to the whole situation and presenting a role of solicitor rather than to stand firmly with the revolution of Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri. In this way, this good party of intellectuals also seem to be unable to vindicate itself of the future criticism if fallen victim to the timely expediency and did not support the revolution pronouncedly.]]>
