Booni, April 7, 2026: A tree plantation drive was organized at the District Health Officer (DHO) office in Booni under the provincial government’s Good Governance Public Agenda Programme titled “Ehsaas Tree Plantation Campaign.”
The campaign was conducted under the supervision of District Health Officer Dr. Farman Wali, with participation from officials of the forest and health department staff.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Wali highlighted the importance of tree plantation, stating that it plays a vital role in improving environmental conditions and human well-being.
He noted that spending time in green surroundings can help reduce stress and improve mental health.
He also stressed the need for collective efforts to address climate change and increasing environmental pollution, urging everyone to actively participate in plantation activities to ensure a cleaner and healthier environment.
