Booni, Feb 21, 2026: A pedestrian lost his life after being hit by a speeding vehicle on the Booni–Mastuj Road at Tori Lasht (Qudratabad).
According to police, the victim, identified as Bulbul Khan, a resident of Miragram No. 1, was walking along the road when a fast-moving vehicle struck him, leaving him critically injured.
He was being shifted to Peshawar for advanced medical treatment; however, he succumbed to his injuries on the way.
Police in Booni registered an FIR against the driver, identified as Abdullah, a resident of Mastuj. The accused has been taken into custody, and further investigation is underway.
