Booni, Feb 18, 2026: The foundation stone of a community hall was laid at the District Headquarters Booni in Upper Chitral at an estimated cost of Rs7 million today.
The funds have been provided by Deputy Speaker Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Suriya Bibi, her focal person Afgan Raza told ChitraToday.
The foundation laying ceremony was attended by local political leaders, government officials, and party workers. Suriya Bibi was represented on the occasion by Afghan Raza.
Speaking on the occasion, party representatives said that the construction of the community hall had long been a public demand and would provide a dedicated space for social, cultural and community activities in the area.
The project is expected to facilitate residents by offering a proper venue for public gatherings and events.
