Booni, Feb 15, 2026: Two suspects have been arrested in connection with a theft reported on January 13, according to the Upper Chitral police.
Under the supervision of SDPO Circle Mulkhow and Torkhow Molai Shah, SHO Ower Akbar Wali Khan and his team traced and apprehended the individuals allegedly involved in the theft.
The initial stages of the investigation faced challenges due to limited information and complex circumstances. However, the police employed professional investigative approach, carefully gathering evidence to establish the facts and identify the culprits.
The arrested suspects, Muhammad Tahir and Aftab Ahmed, residents of Nichagh Ower, were apprehended under FIR 457/380/34 PPC. The police also recovered Rs 13,700 in cash from their possession. Further investigation is ongoing.
