Peshawar, Jan 20, 2026: Samsam Ali Khan, Chairman of Sindh Bar Council Law Committee and a senior lawyer belonging to Chitral, visited the Peshawar High Court Bar Association (PHCBA), where he met Chitrali lawyers.
The event was attended by the President of the Peshawar High Court Bar Association, Member Pakistan Bar Council, and Member Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bar Council Sophia Noreen Sahiba, along with a large number of lawyers. The program was arranged by the Chitral Lawyers Forum on short notice.
On the occasion, the lawyers welcomed Samsam Ali Khan and congratulated him on behalf of the Peshawar High Court Bar Association, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bar Council, and Pakistan Bar Council.
Speakers termed it a matter of great honor for Chitral in particular and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in general that a lawyer belonging to Chitral was elected as a Member of the Sindh Bar Council, reflecting the growing representation of Chitrali lawyers at the national level.
Addressing the gathering, Samsam Ali Khan thanked all the participants, especially women lawyers, for their presence. He shared his professional experiences and emphasized dedication and hard work, particularly during the early and challenging stages of the legal profession.
He also urged senior lawyers to support law students and young lawyers who are unable to complete their education or are facing difficulties in the profession, stressing the importance of guidance, mentorship, and unity within the legal fraternity.
