Missing Doctor Found Dead In Abbottabad

ABBOTTABAD, Dec 8, 2025: The dead body of Dr. Warda, who went missing on Dec 4, was found at Lari Banota area of Abbottabad on Monday.

According to District Police Officer Haroon Rashid, three suspects, including Dr. Warda’s friend and her husband, have been arrested. A fourth suspect remains at large with efforts underway to apprehend them.

DPO Rashid confirmed that Dr. Warda had been strangled to death and her body was buried near Thandyani. The exact cause of death will be determined after the postmortem report is received.

He added that Dr. Warda had kept 67 tola of gold with her friend two years ago when she was going abroad. When she returned, the friend and her husband had kept the gold with someone and obtained a loan of Rs5 million. Despite repeated requests, they did not return the gold. He said Dr. Warda had left the hospital on December 4 along with her friend in a car and disappeared.

Meanwhile, after protests over Dr. Warda’s murder by her colleagues at the hospital and other people, negotiations between the demonstrators and the district administration were held, leading to doctors calling off their strike.
