Booni, Sept 6, 2025: District Education Officer (Female) Upper Chitral Ghazala Anjum has been transferred to South Waziristan, where she has officially assumed charge of her new post.
During her tenure in Upper Chitral, Ghazala Anjum worked actively to promote girls’ education and improve learning opportunities for women in remote areas. Her initiatives to strengthen female schools and support teachers were widely appreciated by the local community.
Social circles in South Waziristan have welcomed her appointment, expressing hope that her posting will contribute positively to the education sector in the region.
Thank God she is finally out. I really hope the authorities also transfer EDO (female) Gul Farzana as things have gone from bad to worse in Upper Chitral under her watch. The schools are in terrible shape. Honestly, it is time to bring in South Waziristani DEOs for both Lower and Upper Chitral if we want to fix things.
