MALAKAND: A brutal act of domestic violence rocked Malakand’s Dheri Joolgram Kund area on Saturday.
A man opened fire and killed five people, including his wife and father-in-law, police confirmed.Law enforcement officials said the suspect stormed his father-in-law’s house.
He fired multiple shots without warning. His wife died on the spot. His father-in-law also fell to the bullets. Three other relatives also lost their lives in the same hail of gunfire.
Police linked the killings to a bitter domestic dispute. The quarrel had been brewing for some time. On Saturday, it exploded into lethal violence. The suspect fled immediately after the attack. His escape caused panic in the neighborhood. It forced police to launch an urgent manhunt.
