Student found dead in Islamia College hostel

PESHAWAR: The dead body of a student has been recovered from Islamia College hostel in Peshawar.

Zia-ud-Din was found hanging from a ceiling fan in his roon. According to the University campus police, Zia-ud-Din was from Dir and a law student. A letter addressed to his father was also found in the deceased’s room, and investigations are ongoing.

The police have initiated further investigations into the case to uncover the reasons behind the incident.

Chairman Law department Islamia College Iftikhar khan told Chitral Today that the student was a punctual and good student. We are grieved over this incident, he added.
