Posting, transfer of four DSPs notified

CHITRAL:  Four police officials were transferred and posted in Lower and Upper Chitral police, according to a notification issued by the regional police officer (RPO), Malakand.

The notification stated that DSP Ajmal Khan currently working as the DSP Drosh has been transferred and posted as the DSP City district Lower Chitral. Inspector Ahmad Issa, acting DSP headquarters Upper Chitral, is transferred to Lower Chitral on the same post. Inspector Iqbal Karim, acting DSP Lower Chitral, is sent to Drosh as acting subdivisional police officer (SDPO).

Moreover, Inspector Muhammad Shafi, awaiting posting at the regional office Swat, has been made DSP headquarters Booni, Upper Chitral.

Suspect arrested

Meanwhile, Lower Chitral police in a statement said a suspect in a theft case registered in Koghuzi police station has been arrested.

The investigation team headed by SHO Koghuzi Rahim Baig using modern scientific methods traced the suspect Israruddin, son of Hazratuddin, a resident of Kaju Bala, and recovered the stolen goods from his possession.
