Wazirzada named CM’s special assistant

PESHAWAR: MPA Wazirzada from the Kalash valley of Chitral has been made special assistant to  the chief minister KP on minorities’ affairs.

The post will have the status of a provincial minister. The workers of PTI Chitral on Saturday welcomed the decision of the provincial government.

Wazirzada was made MPA on a reserved seat of minorities by the PTI after it on the 2018 elections. He belongs to the Kalash community of Chitral and has been active in getting funds allocated for a number of projects in Chitral.

Initially, the elected MNA and MPA of Chitral belonging to the MMA raised objections to government’s move of allocating funds for Chitral through the reserved seat MPA.

However, Wazirzada seems succeeding in his efforts to pacify the two lawmakers and was even appointed as chairman of the District Development Advisory Committee (DDAC).

  1. @CN khan
Wazir Zada is selected as an advisor to CM for minority affairs , why do you expect congratulation from any member of Muslim community ?

  2. No congratulations yet from chitralis and PTI,a local leaderships yet. They must be very jealous to hear this. The local leaderships except Sartaj khan are there just to put their eyes on getting positions. Specially upper chitral leadership. It’s ok be sincere with your area people than you will get something better. When you use people for your own positions ,dont worry central leadership knows that.poor Fouzia bibi must be crying today and the other people who did press conference with her.Any congratulations Mr wazir for your position and the people of your area.good luck
