GILGIT: Human rights organisation IUDHR has called for a transparent and impartial investigation into the suicide of a driver employed by Aga Khan Education Service (AKES) in Gilgit-Baltistan, following claims of psychological pressure, humiliation and workplace harassment.

According to IUDHR and social media users, the driver allegedly made accusations against five individuals in a video statement, claiming he had been subjected to mental pressure, humiliation and harassment. In the video, the driver says that legal action should be taken against the five individuals associated with the AKES. However, the video and the allegations have yet to be independently verified.
