The owner of the house is living in Islamabad along with his family after abanding the house due to frequent floods in the area. There is also no electricity connection in the house so the possibility of a short circuit fire is ruled out. However, local police are investigating the incident.
A social activist in the village said without mentioning his name that at about 9pm they got to know about the house fire but it was too late. “We had no water and attempted through snow but could not extinguish the flames that engulfed the entire house consisting of six rooms.”
It may be mentioned that the family of Subedar Shah became victim to natural catastrophes of floods in 2010 and 2015. One of his younger brothers late Ali Shah’s son moved to Charun due to continuous disasters in the area a few years ago.
Commenting on the incident, Abu Lais Ramdasi, a local PPP leader, said it was a terrorist. He said if such incidents are not tackled by the state our society will be destabilized, adding the state should give protection to public and private property.]]>
