Recounting case will be taken up on 13th
PESHAWAR, Nov 6: Due to the sudden announcement of public holiday on Muharram, Nov 6, the election tribunal could not take up the recounting case of PK-90 upper Chitral here on Wednesday. The sitting MPA, Ghulam Muhammad, and his rival Sardar Hussain of the PPP were informed by the tribunal that the hearing would now be held on November 13. The tribunal was to hear the arguments of the two sides’ lawyers after Ghulam Muhammad levelled allegations against the two-member commission that recounted the rejected and postal ballots in Chitral and gave one-vote lead to Sardar Hussain about a month back.]]>
