Lowari pass closed after snowfall

CHITRAL, Nov 5: After over 12-hour-long rain, the Lowari top road has been closed, stranding hundreds of passenger on both sides of the Lowari Pass. An official of police post at Ashrait told this correspondent that the pass had received about one foot snow. He said that the vehicles coming from the Dir side were allowed to pass through the unfinished Lowari tunnel while passengers going out of Chitral had stranded in Chitral side.–Zahiruddin]]>
