CHITRAL, Sept 29: It was a very sad day for Chitral. After two Chitralis were killed in the terrorist attacks in Peshawar, Chitral lost two more people, including a professor, in a traffic accident on Sunday.
Reports said Obaidur Rehman, 52, an assistant professor of Islamiat at the Government Degree College Chitral, was driving home to Juti Lasht from Ayun along with one Abdul Jabbar when his jeep fell into a gorge near the bus stop on Chitral-Peshawar road in front of Ayun.
As a result, the professor and Mr Jabbar died on the spot. Prof Rehman was a native of Lotkoh and lived at Juti Lasht. Mr Jabbar alias joker, was a resident of Moldeh, Ayun.
The bodies of the victims have been taken to their homes and will be buried in their natives areas on Monday.
