CHITRAL: The Chitral police on Thursday said they have taken into custody a lawyer after his alleged blasphemous social media post went viral on social media. The police said that Shamsul Islam was sent to jail under section 3 of the Maintenance of Public Order (MPO) ordinance.

CHITRAL: District Health Officer (DHO) Chitral Lower Dr Fayaz Ali Roomi has been transferred and directed to report to the Directorate General Health, Peshawar. In place of Dr Roomi, Dr Muhammad Shamim, currently working as director DHDC Chitral, has been given the additional charge of the DHO.
