ChitralToday), Ms Tabassum said she had qualified under the school-based policy for the post at the Govt Middle School Kalkatak, Ashiret and Tarshishi but in March 2015 all the other qualifying candidates were issued the appointment letters. When Ms Tabassum contacted the education department, she was told that the posts for the schools for which she had qualified had not been sanctioned and as soon as the sanction is given she would be contacted for appointment. When the post for the middle school Tarshishi was approved, another female candidate was posted there without even calling Ms Tabassum. The education officer concerned kept on telling Ms Tabassum that she would be appointed at the school in Ashiret but later that post was also given to someone else. At last, when Ms Tabassum was expecting to be accommodated at the middle school Kalkatak, the education department again informed her about its inability to hire her there, saying Shakila Naz, daughter of Riaz Ahmed, had taken approval to be posted there on the quota of persons with disabilities. MsTabassum appealed to the authorities concerned to take notice of the injustice with her, and issue her an appointment letter without further delay.]]>
