Addressing the opening session, DPM-SRSP Munir Ahmed Syed said SRSP had inked MoU with local government department to facilitate the training of LG members. He said that the trainings were provided according to the approved syllabus of local governance school and master trainers are provided by local government department. He shared that so far trainings have been conducted for both tehsil councils and the Nazims, Naib Nazims, youth and minority councilors and one women councilors of 62 village councils have gone the three-day training on Local Governance & Grassroots Development. Addressing the concluding session of the training, District Naib Nazim Maulana Abdul Shakur lauded and thanked SRSP-CDLD for arranging the training and termed it very useful.
