ASHIRET, April 12: This water filtration plant, costing millions of rupees, was installed on the Chitral side of the under-construction Lowari tunnel on the directive of former Peshawar High Court (PHC) Chief Justice Dost Muhammad Khan some two years back. The purpose of the installation of the plant was to filter the contaminated water coming out of the tunnel which entered into the Ashriat nulla and polluted it. The polluted stream water is being consumed by the people of Ashiret.
