Skardu, April 24, 2025: The federal government is actively pursuing development initiatives in Gilgit-Baltistan with a strong focus on infrastructure, education and energy.
This was stated by Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Amir Muqam while speaking at a ceremony to distribute laptops at the University of Baltistan in Skardu, according to Radio Pakistan.
The minister said several development initiatives are underway in the region, including the construction of roads, solarization projects, and the establishment of Danish Schools to improve educational standards.
Muqam also advised students to make effective use of laptops, describing them as an important tool for achieving academic success and building a better future.
