Booni, March 20, 2026: The dead body of a young man was on Friday recovered from Chitral River near Zeyit in Upper Chitral.
Rescue 1122 received the alert and immediately dispatched a team to the location. The team recovered the body from the river and transferred it to THQ Hospital Booni.
Preliminary information indicates that the recovered body belongs to Shahzada Umar Jilani from Bumbagh. Under went missing after leaving his home in Bumbagh about one and a half months ago. A search had been launched for the missing youth but no clue was found.
