Islamabad, March 20, 2026: Iran’s new Supreme Leader Mujtaba Khamenei has extended a special message to the people of Pakistan alongside his Eid al-Fitr greetings to the Iranian nation.
In his message, Khamenei emphasized the strategic importance of Pakistan to Iran and expressed a strong desire to maintain friendly and cooperative relations with the neighboring country.
Marking Eid al-Fitr and Nowruz, the Supreme Leader congratulated all Muslims and called the new Iranian year a year of bravery and national unity. He praised the Iranian military for its recent successes, noting that adversaries tried and failed to spread fear and discord, while the nation remained resilient in the face of multiple security challenges.
Khamenei reaffirmed that Iran values good relations with its neighbors, including Pakistan and Afghanistan, and stressed the importance of stronger ties among Muslim countries.
He warned against external attempts to sow division, highlighting the need for national unity and vigilance in addressing internal weaknesses to protect the nation from external manipulation.
