CHITRAL: June 21, 2025: A fire broke out in a room at the Terichmir View Hotel in Chitral town earlier today.
Rescue 1122 Lower Chitral said that upon receiving the emergency call, its firefighting team arrived at the scene with a fire vehicle. The firefighters contained the blaze using dry chemical powder, preventing the flames from spreading and averting what could have been a major disaster.
The operation involved two firefighters and one fire vehicle. Thanks to the timely response, significant damage to the hotel was avoided, it added.
