ISLAMABAD: Police have arrested the suspect involved in the murder of Chitrali TikToker Sana Yousaf, who was shot dead at her residence in G-13 Islamabad on June 2, 2025.
According to the Islamabad police, the suspect identified as Umar Hayat alias Kaka, 22, also a TikToker, had fled to Faisalabad after committing the crime. He was tracked down and apprehended with the help of CCTV footage and modern technology.
The suspect reportedly claimed to be a close friend of the victim. The police said the suspect was being shifted to Islamabad where a murder case has been registered at Sumbal police station against him.
Sana Yousaf was fatally shot at her home in Islamabad in what appeared to be a targeted attack on Monday.
According to the police, CCTV footage showed the suspect talking to the girl and having some argument with Sana asking her to leave.
