PESHAWAR: A Chitrali boy died of a bullet wound to his head in Peshawar, police said on Sunday.
According to the available details, Farhan, age 12 years, son of Qamaruddin of Nishko village in Upper Chitral, was going to a mosque on Kohat Road to offer Zuhr prayers along with his father when firing broke out between robbers and the Ababil Squad of the police at Garhi Qamar Din area.
A bullet hit the youth in the head in the crossfire. The injured was shifted to the Lady Reading Hospital where he succumbed to the injury.
