Curriculum Launched to Promote Values-Based Education

Chitral, April 16, 2036: The district administration of Lower Chitral has launched a character-building curriculum, “Rosht Istari,” aimed at nurturing ethical values and personal development among schoolchildren.

The curriculum was unveiled at a ceremony held at Town Hall Chitral under the vision of Deputy Commissioner Rao Hashim Azeem.

The event was attended by senior officials, educationists, and members of civil society, with DIG Malakand Division Syed Fida Hassan Shah as chief guest.

Speaking on the occasion, the DIG praised the initiative, noting that it reflects contemporary educational needs while strengthening moral foundations.

He commended the efforts of those involved in designing the curriculum and described it as a positive step for the future of students in the region.

Deputy Commissioner Rao Hashim Azeem said the primary objective of “Rosht Istari” is to instill key values such as self-confidence, discipline, perseverance, critical thinking, and interfaith harmony among students of grades three to five.
