Booni, April 15, 2026: Social and political activists from Shagram, Shothkhar and Sherjuli held a meeting in Shagram in Torkhow and expressed concerns over the delay in the construction work on the Booni-Buzund Road.
They highlighted the suspension of work on 1.9-kilometre portion of the road in Kaghlasht, Buzund-Khot road and Terich.
The participants unanimously passed a resolution demanding that construction work on the Booni-Buzund Road be started immediately.
The resolution warned that if work is not initiated by April 20, residents of Torkhow and Terich will launch a second phase of protest, including a march towards the Communication and Works (C&W) office in Booni.
