Chitral, April 5, 2026: A soldier from Upper Chitral embraced martyrdom while performing his duties in North Waziristan.
Sepoy Hafeez Ahmad, son of Rehman Bakhsh and a resident of Guch Rayin, was martyred on the Shewa–Mir Ali Road while fighting terrorists.
The body of the martyr was scheduled to be transported from Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Bannu to his native village and laid to rest with full military honors on April 6.
Sepoy Hafeez Ahmad is survived by his parents, wife, two sons and a daughter. He becomes the sixth soldier from Rayin to sacrifice his life in service of the nation.
