PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government’s ongoing school enrollment drive is aiming to bring one million out-of-school children into the education system.
Barrister Dr. Saif, Adviser to the Chief Minister on Information, stated that Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur was personally overseeing the campaign to ensure its effectiveness. He has instructed the education department to use all available resources to ensure that no child is left out of school.
To strengthen the initiative, the government will provide free school bags and stationery to students. Additionally, it will soon introduce the “Taleem Card” project to further facilitate children’s access to education.
The campaign has gained support from teachers, parents, local elders, elected representatives, youth volunteers, and religious scholars, fostering widespread community involvement.
Dr. Saif urged parents to enroll their children in schools, emphasizing that this is a national duty that will shape the country’s future.
“Today’s children are our future. By investing in their education, we are investing in a brighter and more prosperous Pakistan.”
