Heli safari service launched for tourists

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and tourism authority has launched a helicopter safari service for tourists to visit different tourist spots, including Shandur and Kalash valleys.
The heli safari service has been arranged by KP Culture and Tourism Authority in collaboration with Patronate Aviation.

The service was inaugurated by Advisor to the Chief Minister on Tourism, Zahid Chanzeb.  The helicopter safari packages also offer breathtaking views of Chitral Airport, the Kalash Valley, Lowari Tunnel, Tirich Mir Peak, and the beautiful meadows of Qaqlasht.

Adviser to the Chief Minister on Tourism and Culture Zahid Chanzeb said the decision to start helicopter safari service would facilitate local and foreign tourists visiting Shandur for the annual festival this year.
In this connection, he said, Director General Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority Barkatullah Marwat signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Petronet Aviation.
Various tourism and heli safari service packages have been introduced for tourists desiring to participate in Shandur Polo Festival, Adviser Zahid Chanzeb said.
He said the first package included Chitral Airport, Kalash Valley, Lowari Tunnel visits, followed by the second package including Chitral Airport, Terichmer peak and in the third package tourists would visit Chitral Airport, Terichmir and Kaghlasht.
