Literacy rate in Pakistan 62.8pc: economic survey

ISLAMABAD: The literacy rate in Pakistan has been recorded at 62.8 per cent, according to the Economic Survey 2023-24.

According to the Economic Survey, the literacy rate among men is 73.4pc and among women 51.9pc

There are a total of 263 universities in both tbe public and private sectors in the country.

The number of private universities is 109. Moreover, there are 131 sub-campuses in different parts of the country.
