Furniture provided to two govt schools
CHITRAL: A non-governmental organization provided furniture to two government schools along with gifts to its students, says a press release.
Helping Hand for Relief and Development Pakistan provided tables, chairs and desks to the Govt Primary School Jughore and Govt primary School Chitral. In this regard, a function was arranged in which additional deputy commissioner Irfan Uddin was the chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion, he appreciated the NGO for helping the marginalized section of society. He said Helping Hand was also patronizing 200 orphan children besides providing interest-free loans and carrying out skill development activities in Chitral.
Helping Hand’s district coordinator M. Shujaul Haq, programme manager Naeem Arshad Awan, district education officer Mahmood Ghaznavi, village council chairman Sajad Ahmed Khan also spoke on the occasion.
