24 in the field for four seats of tehsil council chairmen
CHITRAL: As many as 24 candidates of different political parties and independents are in the field for the four seats of tehsil chairmen in Lower and Upper Chitral, according to the lists available with ChitralToday.
According to the final lists prepared by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) available with ChitralToday, six candidates are vying for the slot of the tehsil Chitral chairman. They are: Shahzada Amanur Rehman of PTI, Faisal Ahmed Saeed of the PPP, Abdur Rehman of JUI-F, Wajihuddin of JI, Amirullah (independent) and Rashid Ahmed (independent).

Shahzada Khalid Pervez of the PPP, Shahzada Shaukatul Mulk of the PML-N, Ibadur Rehman (TIP), Amir Nurab Khan (independent), Sher Muhammad (independent), Khadija Sardar of the ANP, and Sultan Muhammad of the PTI.
Tehsil council Mastuj
Muhammad Pervez (PML-N), Sardar Hakim (PTI), Amirullah (PPP), Suhrawardi Khan and Syed Nasir Ali Shah (independents).
Tehsil council Mulkhow, Torkhow
Mustansaruddin (PPP), Mir Jamsheduddin (PTI), Javed Hussain (JI), Fatehul Bari (JUI-F), Muhammad Haroon and Fakhruddin (independents).
The second phase of the local government elections in 18 districts of KP, including Lower and Upper Chitral, is scheduled to be held on March 31.
