CHITRAL: After Qaqlasht in Upper Chitral, a four-day snow festival was inaugurated in Madaklasht valley of Lower Chitral on Thursday.
Commissioner Malakand Division Zaheerul Islam opened the festival in the presence of a large number of people. Youngsters from across Chitral and other areas are taking part in alpine skiing, snow boarding and ice skating competitions.
The holding of the winter snow festival in Madaklasht has been a regular annual feature for the last three years.
