Man drives car out of garage into river at Shali

CHITRAL: A car fell into Chitral river when its owner tried to drive it out from a garage at Shali on Sunday morning.

Rescue 1122 said they were alerted about the incident and a team reached the spot.

The old Corolla was floating in the water and the rescuers by using machinery retrieved it.

Azmat told the rescuers that as he drove the car out of the garage he lost control and it fell off into the river. However, he saved himself by jumping off the car.
