Seminar held on quality assurance in BS programme

CHITRAL: A seminar on quality assurance in the BS programme of government colleges was held at the Govt Postgraduate College Chitral on Friday.

The resource persons of the seminar were deputy controller examinations Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University Sherinal Mr Intikhab Alam and deputy director quality assurance Ibrar Hussain.

Teachers and students of BS programme from the host college, Govt Degree College for Boys Booni and Govt Degree College for Girls Booni participated in the seminar.

College Principal Prof Mumtaz Hussain thanked the SBBU for its cooperation in holding the seminar.

He said when the BS programme was launched in 2014, there were lots of issues. But due to the continued support and guidance from the university, the first batch of students from the college graduated in the prgramme this year with good marks.

Intikhab Alam and Ibrar Hussain highlighted the salient features of the programme and explained the importance of quality assurance.
