Five injured in road accident near Koghuzi
KOGHUZI: Five people travelling in a jeep were injured in a traffic accident near here on Saturday afternoon.
The jeep carrying the five persons was going to Mori lower from Golen valley when it met with accident due to speeding, according to local police.
The injured were provided necessary treatment at the rural health centre (RHC) of Koghuzi. Two of the injured, Sardar Azam and Akhtar of Mori lower, were later shifted to Chitral by Rescue 1122.
The other injured identified as Nusrat of Mori upper and Sardar Ayub of Mori lower and Atif from Abbottabad were discharged after initial treatment at the RHC.
According to a staff member at the RHC Koghuzi, since Eid this was the sixth road accidents in the Koh union council area.
Most of the accidents were caused by youngsters driving motorcycles, he added. –M. Farooque
