Body of Chitrali youth drowned near Karachi buried in Bumburate

CHITRAL: The body of a youth who drowned in Manchar Lake near Karachi on Saturday was brought to Chitral and buried in his native Bronthar village of Bumburate on Sunday.

Muhammad Saleem, son of Nadir Khan, lived in FB Area of Karachi in connection with his job, and had gone to Mancher Lake with friends on the second day of Eid for picnic.

While swimming in the lake, Saleem drowned along with another youth from Karachi. His body was retrieved by rescue staff and shifted to Karachi from where it was brought to Chitral.

The ambulance carrying the body took hours to reach the native village of the deceased from Ayun due to the poor condition of the road. –Muhkam Uddin Ayuni
