CHITRAL: The local police arrested two young men on the charge of stealing valuables from a house in Denin on the night of Feb 1 this year.
Two held for allegedly stealing valuables from house
Presenting the suspected thieves before local reporters, the Chitral police identified them as Ezaz, son of Sherdullah Khan, and Nazir Azam, son of Nadir Khan, residents of Shinjal locality of Denin.
Asadur Rehman, a resident of Denin, had registered a case with the police stating that thieves barged into his house by scaling the wall in the absence of the inmates and stole gold and silver ornaments along with a 22-bore gun.
During its investigation, the police questioned a number of youngsters of the area and finally took the two suspects into custody who confessed to their involvement in the theft.
The police later also recovered the stolen valuables from the possession of the suspects.—Muhkam Uddin Ayuni
