Students protest removal of college principal
CHITRAL: Scores of students from Shaheen Vocational Training Institute College located in Balach on Friday held a rally to the deputy commissioner office against the removal of their Principal Asiya Ajmal and appointment of another principal.
The students said if the new appointment as not withdrawn they would launch a class boycott move.
Additional DC Minhas Uddin assured the students that the district administration would try its best to rescind the transfer of the principal.
Principal Asiya Ajmal was also called to the DC office who told the additional DC that she was being removed even before the expiry of her contract.—Bashir Hussain Azad
