Brep school clinches cricket trophy
BOONI: Brep school clinches cricket trophy. The toss for the final match was won by the captain of GHHS Shagram, who chose to bowl first.
Government High School Brep scored 101 runs in the allotted 10 overs. Saifuddin of GHS Brep bated beautifully and scored 42 runs. In reply GHHS Shagram batsmen put up stiff resistance but their efforts ended in vain in the face of tight line and length maintained by GHS Brep bowlers.
In the last over GHHS, Shagram needed nine runs to win the final but they could make only six runs. Hussain Ali bowled the last stunning over from GHS Brep, and secured three wickets and bowled a brilliant spell.
Earlier, GHS Brep had defeated the cricket teams of GHS, Sonoghore and Dawn Institute Parwak to reach the final.
Talking to ChitralToday, the students of GHS Brep appreciated the efforts of their headmaster Sardar Ali and SST, (general) Basharat Hussain and other faculty members of the school for their untiring efforts for the promotion of both curricular and co-curricular activities in the school.
Congratulations to school Management and the Players for this achievement. It is really a big success and nice addition in the sports’ history of our school. Hope the continuity will not break.
Congratulation once again, wish you all the best.
